Mardi Gras Season Is Under Way

The Krewes are making plans and we're arranging music for what is shaping up to be the best Mardi Gras season thus far. In the seven years since Katrina, mardi gras (and the music of mardi gras) has made a slow and steady comeback. For the first time since the storm, we will be fielding a 20 piece orchestra on the Saturday night before Mardi Gras. The theme is set in the early part of the 20th centruy and that calls for big band dance music. It will be a great night. Featured musicians will include Leo Ursini, Denny Leroux, Charles Darius all under the baton of Robert Maxwell. Holiday Break Time

Whether it's Christmas, Hanukkah, or Winter Solstice, December 25th is always a "break" for JMO. A time to gather with family and loved ones, appreicate the love and joy, and make plans for the celebrations ahead. Those plans include Wedding band preparations, new cover band materials (song selections), Mardi Gras, preparations, and all those details which will take us into spring.

But for now, we wish you a very safe, and happy holiday season to you and all of your family.

It's Carnival Time - (Well, Almost!)

It'll be Mardi Gras time in New Orleans before you know it and once again we look forward to playing for the krewes that started it all. From "If Ever I Cease To Love" to "The Grand March of Aida" and from "Mardi Gras Mambo", "Iko Iko" and "Brown Eyed Girl" to "All The Single Ladies" and "Forget You" we'll be covering a wide variety of music.
